Want a smart screen for your old car, but don’t want to spend too much? Here let me show you how to make it at home. Less money, amazing experience.

We’ll use a cost-effective product, which is for 2014-2018 TOYOTA TUNDRA. Before the removal and installation, we should prepare tools first. These are the disassembly tools I used, please prepare according to your need.

Step 1: Remove the panel

Use tools to pry open the key panel and the cigarette lighter panel below the original car, and unplug everything at the back of the panel.

Step2: Take off the original screen

Continue to loosen the four screws that hold the original car’s screen host. It has two inside and out. Be careful with the inside, or it will fall. Take off the original screen and plug all the cables on the back.

Step3: Connect the power cord

Now we connect the power cord of the new radio to the plug of the original car.

Connect to canbus, and connect the GPS cable to the back of the car radio. Then connect the quad-G antenna, USB cable, video input cable, and the RCA cable.

Step 4: Remove and install cigarette lighter panel

Removed the cigarette lighter panel from the key panel of the original car and installed it on our new product.

Step 5: Connect the new radio

Now let’s connect the new product button cable, and connect the power cord CAN plug and black power source to the new radio, connect the radio antenna, now let’s reconnect the wire of the cigarette lighter panel, okay now install the new product

Now the air conditioner is not working, let’s set up the Canbus, firstly enter the factory setting.

After finding the campus settings, we find the brand of the agreement box and select it according to your model year.

Then go to car settings, go to OIL Settings and choose according to your car.

After setting up successfully, there is no problem with air conditioning now!

These buttons all work well, the steering wheel buttons now work as well.

Hey bros! Today’s upgrade is a ford Explorer. We get a new car multi-function radio.

The new radio support SYNC1 SYNC2 SYNC3 and 360° camera. Of course with carplay & Android auto. High resolution screen. Support AHD Camera, bluetooth.

Here’s all its wires and disassembly tool, please prepare as needed. And follow me I’ll show you the removal and installation step by steep.

First, we remove the silver trim on the left and right sides.

Then unscrew the screws that fix the original car button panel, unplug all plugs on the back.

Here we unscrew the screws that fix the original car host and the original car screen.

Remove the original car host and unplug all the plugs on the back, then we remove the original car screen and and plug all the wires on the back.

Next, we remove the air vent from the original car and install it on the back of our new car radio.

Here we connect its RCA cable, FOURG antenna, GPS antenna to the new car radio.

Then connect the radio antenna and the original car USB cable to the original car.

And connect the power card to the new car radio, connect the reversing video cable.

Then we connect the socket of the power cord to the original car plug according to the size and connect the radio and USB to the new car radio by the way.

Okay the connection is complete, we will install it, just fix it with screws, and finally install to silver decorative strips and it is completed!

Now it’s time to test the connection. Next thing is the debugging protocol, which is the operation demonstration method

we enter the password to enter the factory settings, find the campus setting and select the corresponding option according to the model year to confirm.

Then restart the effective protocol data.

Since I bought the 2010 Ford Fiesta, I’ve been stuck with the old factory radio in the dashboard. Just last month, I made up my mind to get it changed. How to install the new unit?

I successfully installed the new Ford Fiesta Tesla screen with the help of my uncle, he is a professional auto mechanic working at Jeep company. Now, let’s see how we did that.

Take a look at the factory radio of my 2010 Ford Fiesta.

5. Take down the panel and unplug its cable to the car.

8. Correspondingly connect the new cables of the new radio to the car.

9. Remove the A/C outlets on the button panel, and install them to the new radio, then connect the new radio to the car via the new cables. Check the manual if you are not sure the wiring ports.

10. Put the new radio system to the dashboard, have a test for it before fixing it well. If the new radio doesn’t work well, check again the wiring conditions, and ask the seller for help when needed.
