Step 1, Pry to open the trim panel of the screen, remove the panel, and unplug the connectors.

Step 3, Pry to open the A/C outlet, take down the outlet, and disconnect the plugs.

Step 4, Pry to remove the A/C button panel, take it down and unplug the connectors.

Step 5, Remove 4 screws that fixed the CD unit, pull it out and disconnect the plugs.

Step 6, The removal of Audi Q5’s based stereo is finished now. While before you installing the Seicane car stereo head unit, you should check the product and accessories in good condition.

Step 7, Take a look at the user manual to distinguish cable interfaces when you are not sure how to do, then correspondingly connect the new wiring harness to the car plugs.

Step 8, Connect the original CD unit and install it back to the dashboard.

Step 9, Install the screen bracket, connect the Seicane stereo screen unit, and tighten the screws to fix it.

Step 10, Power on the car to test the new radio system. If it functions normally, install all car parts back; if there is problem, check the wiring conditions.

1 Grab out the panel that fixed the factory radio, it’s stuck inside.

 

2 Remove the four fixing screws

 

3 Carefully take out the original radio, and pull out the plugs

5 Remove the old radio wiring harness connected to the car and needn’t use it

 

6 Then connect the wiring of the new audio system to the wiring of the car

While the only thing that made me unsatisfied was that its dashboard radio system function is too less and the operation is not smart enough. After thinking about some time, I decided to purchase an aftermarket car radio GPS navigation system for modification.

My friend recommended me to a radio navigation brand that is currently popular in the market, it’s called Seicane. First of all, there are some tips before the installation,

7 Remove the fixing screws of original car radio

8 Remove the screws on the left and right sides of the air conditioner

9 Pry out the plastic panel under the air conditioner

10 Remove the screws on the plastic panel

11 Remove the CD fixing screws

12 Take off the original car radio and CD

13 Directly connect the original car plugs and the new Seicane car radio plugs, and then test to make sure that all functions are working properly, and then use a screwdriver to fix the Seicane radio navigation system in the dashboard.
