- I am writing for review. It is extremely pleasure of mine to give this unit a try that was shipped from China.
My unit that I brought is previous version of Android 9 but whole kits and screen attachments to IX45 santa fe is exactly same to my 2013 year. I have a base trim and it don't have navagation so this is my reason of upgrade to Chinese unit.
Pro:
- GPS/GNSS recognized and igo software tracked map directions within 98% accuracy. Very impressed.
- Bluetooth obd2 scanner that it came with the unit works with torque app.
- installing the trigger wire into your car-specific gear's reversing wire. I had to look up on hyundai forum for some supports but it's all good.
- car specific housing for the h2044 Chinese unit is perfect match to 2013 santa fe ix45 without navagation. There is another unit for navagation; h676n in case you wanted it.
- reverse camera is high quality in video output, zero complaint. The reversing map (the lined one) is something I needed to get used to (it's not animated).
- thanks to universal connectors to the ix45's input connector, I was able to also utilize a few additional features; I plugged in my Nintendo system in car rhat uses AV cable and i used it with 80w inverter and it ran beautiful!
I would highly recommend this unit to anyone. Seicane programs Android into the Chinese unit and install them into car specific housings where you can finish the installation yourself.
So they made sure I was able to install everything as it's meant for. Will buy again for new car, new unit!
