Why did I have to pay customs clearance?
Dear Sir/Madam,
Could you please explain to me why I had to pay €35,86 of Customs clearance to have my last order (Air Waybill n°3322487943) delivered to me when it is said on your website that European countries don't pay import tax or VAT?
You'll find attached the evidences of payment for 1st the order and shipping and 2nd the Customs clearance.
Without payment of the Customs clearance, DHL refused to deliver my parcel.
Knowing that my order's value was $32 with $26 of shipping fees, paying €35,86 of Customs clearance seems quite exaggerated.
Therefore, before ordering something else from your website, I'd like to know what when wrong during the last shipment for me to have Customs clearance to pay when I wasn't supposed to.
Moreover, would you be so kind as to tell me if there is a way to receive reimbursement for these Customs clearance fees?
