March 6, 2025H6144 much better then the H201
- After emailing Seicane about the 2 units H6144 & H201 & finding out that both will work for a 2016 Jeep Wrangler with Alpine speaker / Amp set up i went for this unit because it was a later version & it looked like they had done a # of improvements. This Unit was a easy install & all i had to do was connect the blue Amp wires together & the Alpine speakers & Amp started working. It was just plug & play & everything works right out of the box including the steering controls /GPS & rear camera i got with it. The only things i had to modify was the tangs for the center dash were to long on the drivers side & i had to grind them down so the center dash would go flush , i had to glue the top tray to the center dash & use the top tray screw because the center dash would keep pulling out on the clips holding it in place & when you install the vents you might have to grind down where they start to twist into place on the center dash. So far its a great unit. The only thing i wish customer support at Seicane could respond to some questions i had quicker
