The unit was fairly simple to install. The wiring harness made all the electronics plug and play which was nice. The plastics tabs for securing the unit to my dash didn't fit quite perfectly, but with some easy modification using a razor blade, I was able to install the unit securely. The unit itself works as promised. For the price it was a great value, but a few small things I wish were improved. I wish the screen was slightly brighter for daytime viewing. The unit also has a very small amount of static noise when no music is playing, but again it is very small and almost unnoticeable.

Customer service has been A+. I had to adjust my order because I accidentally ordered a wrong part, and they were able to fix it before the items shipped. I also had a troubleshooting issue (totally my fault) and they were able to respond quickly to help me fix the problem.

Overall, very happy with the purchase as it's been working well for me over the past year and a half.

When I purchased the Seicane product, I have to admit I was nervous buying electronics from an off shore company. I had researched several options for a new Double Din head unit for my 2016 Subaru Outlook Premium, and Seicane had a great price, and some excellent You Tube installations to view. I was not disappointed.

When the shipment arrived, on time it was well packed and I was surprised at the quality and workmanship of the unit.

I had some issues understanding some of the installation instructions, but once I got these clarified by the rapid response team from Seicane support, the install went quite well. The hardware and adapter cabling was top quality both in appearance and workmanship, it all worked.

Once installed, the setup of the Android Auto took a bit of figuring, the documentation needs a little more concise detail but I worked through it. Once configured, the installed unit looks original, and works perfectly.

I needed to upgrade a 2009 Mercedes SLK head unit. On the SLK Forums quite a few owners had purchased the Seicane products and recommended it. Being in the UK I was worried the order would take long but it arrived quickly - exactly as ordered and well packaged.

I ordered the Seicane model H240N-P which comes with an 8 inch screen. Also ordered the DVR camera, CarPlay Android, TPMS system and external OBD2 Bluetooth dongle. My car has the Harman Kardon amplifier which requires a MOST ring fibre-optic decoder. This makes for a complicated and difficult installation but luckily the installer was professional and experience. Unfortunately the Seicane model didn't work with my car as Mercedes changed it for 2009-2012 models (three wires instead of 2, one for the AGW) but Seicane after sales were very helpful and immediately refunded me for this item. We sourced a local decoder which works 100%. Most of the steering wheel buttons (volume, next track etc) works 100%.

Wow this is a fantastic system!! I was completely blown away by how good the sound is. I was worried about upgrading the head unit since the OEM Mercedes kit was outstanding but this Seicane sound system is incredible! Far better than the original Mercedes unit. It comes with a DSP as well as graphic equaliser which I didn't have before, so I can fine-tune the sound.

The head unit is fast and responsive. I updated Google maps and this works perfectly, so much better than the original Merc SATNAV which admittedly is 10+ years old. The reverse camera works well, picture quality is crisp and clear and I get the reversing overlay / guideline. The front-facing DVR is excellent as well - superb picture quality and its such a pleasure to have the dashcam all in one combined with the head unit. I can view the dashcam video in real time which is nifty and it comes with an ADAS system as well (not tried yet).

I have 4 USB devices (dashcam, TPMS monitor, CarPlay and a memory stick with MP3 music) but the head unit came with only 3 USB ports. No problem - I plugged in a USB hub (not splitter but a proper 4 port USB hub) and the CarPlay & memory stick works perfectly, so in total 7 USB ports - wow!

Haven't tested the TPMS and OBD2 systems yet but so far I am blown away by the Seicane system. Excellent value for money, it looks awesome and sounds amazing. Really good quality as well, the head unit fits snugly and matches the Mercedes perfectly so the car looks much more modern than before.

FANTASTIC ANDROID DEVICE,,,EASY SIMPLE INSTALLATION AND OPERATION.

So I got a product in 2020 and after 2 years of owning it, I still contacted them to help rectify an issue on my HU WITH the CarPlay function and they immediately came to my rescue.. Seicane is the definition of a vendor, brand and a true friend
