Great features but with some.pain points

Purchased this unit in hopes to bridge my android phone to my my non android auto car stereo. Overall the unit is solid with simple design....
My only pain point is that I wish the power, aux, rear camera connections on the unit were offset to one side. In their current centered location it is impossible to install the mirror so it can face you as it is always pointed down because those wires are hitting the car overhead. I tried to adjust the mirror as far up as I could and ended up knocking my original mirror right off the mount.
Unfortunately I gave up on trying to install on.my car and moved it to my truck and ias.luck would have it, I ran into the same issue.
Read some other reviews stating the same thing.
If all connections were offset to one side I would buy 3 of these. As it stands, this will not work for me. Thanks

Q: What is the length of the rear view camera cable? Can it be extended for use in a large SUV? I hope to install in a 2005 Ford Excursion, the largest SUV ever built and I want to know if the cable will be long enough to get to the back of the vehicle. DurchChris 14.01.2025
