My question is, will my steering wheel controls work once I connect the extension cable to the new head unit and bypass the amplifier? Q: Will Android 8 Model Work With My 2004 Mercedes SL500? I am considering ordering SKU: 107728 Model:S018817G (Android 8) but first can you please verify that this unit will work with my 2004 Mercedes SL500? See picture. I also plan to order the wireless backup camera and the OBDII module. If it will work, I have a few additional questions: - Does it require any cutting/splicing of wires? - Does it come with complete instructions? - Do I need to order any additional installation items (adapters, etc.)? - Is the sound quality any better than the stock unit which is not very good? - Will it work if I later decide to update the speakers and add an aftermarket amp? Q: Will it fit my Right Hand Drive 2003 Mercedes SL55 AMG I desperately need an upgrade for my car. This unit looks perfect for my 2003 SL55 AMG, the dash looks exactly the same as the example. I would need a reversing camera (probably the wireless one) with the unit. My car is a right hand drive car, is it still ok? If so I would get an engineer to install it, is it as complicated as it looks? would i need to get an iPhone ? What would the total cost be?I may be better off paying in Dollars?
