I purchased two devices from Seicane for my 2004 Volkswagen Touareg V8 and 2013 Cadillac Escalade Premium, both of which worked well. However, one of the devices had a Bluetooth malfunction, and the Seicane team sent me the repair steps. I successfully made the Bluetooth work
Thanks

Great solution, great service. Kudos to the sales and after-sales team. They provided me with the support to set it up on my vehicle and it works perfectly.
I recommended it to a friend and he bought it too. -

I recently upgraded my 2011 Honda Insight EX (with navigation) by replacing the OEM head unit with an 8GB RAM/256GB storage Android tablet-style unit, and the difference is night and day compared to the original 2011 navigation screen. While there are some quirks that come with using an Android tablet as a head unit, all of the steering wheel controls work perfectly. Obviously you won’t use the OEM USB out, aux out, navigation transponder, and antenna. (The android unit replaces this stuff)
Contrary to some YouTuber claims about a 15-minute install, it took me closer to 45 minutes to complete the head unit installation. Despite this, I’d rate it a 10/10 if you’re looking to add Apple CarPlay and other features that a standard Pioneer unit wouldn't offer.
Here's my advice for the installation process:
- Pre-install the cables into the head unit to get a better idea of how everything fits.
- Completely remove the OEM unit and transfer the retention clips.
- Install an external microphone and place it on the A-pillar for better voice command functionality (there’s a mic out on the harness for this).
It’s a solid upgrade if you're seeking more modern functionality without sacrificing the original car's controls! -

The product was somewhat complicated to manage. The sockets weren’t perfect, the box for the OEM speedometer wasn’t the correct one, and the screen only activated when I turned on the headlights. However, with some patience and adjustments—such as applying pressure to the sockets, modifying the box to close it securely with duct tape, and bypassing the 12V from the cigarette lighter to power the screen—all is now working properly. I put in some effort, but I’m satisfied with the final result.
