Q: Does the cars dimmer function work with this stereo? When I adjust the dimmer on my car does it affect the display on this receiver? If yes, can you describe how it dims? (i.e. Does it dim directly with the car's built-in potentiometer? or does it send a I/O signal and dim to a set level when the lights are turned on?) Second question, Do I need the CarPlay dongle for CarPlay to work? The second picture says "Built-In CARPLAY module..." Does this mean that I don't need the dongle for CarPlay to work?
