It seems that other companies sell a different option for the JBL and non-JBL equipped Siennas. I have the 2006 XLE model. For example one dash-kit (not as good as yours) says: JBL Interface features: PAC TATO JBL System Amplifier Turn-on Interface Retains the use of the factory JBL amplified audio system when it is replaced with an after market radio Retains the factory functions of balance and fade So there seems to be something special for JBL (I don't really understand, hopefully you do).
