Q: Is the carplay dongle required? The description says carplay is built into the unit, but an option to buy the carplay dongle is available. Is the carplay dongle required to use carplay with this unit? ByCorey Jan 10, 2020

Q: does it have all the features of the original renegade 2018 5" dashboard? In particular, will I be able to: - use the wheel controls? - use the two USB ports to play my mp3's? - manage the car settings (i.e. the automatic doors lock, the automatic parking break, the enable/disable option for the passenger seat airbag....)? In order to use the carplay function to connect the display to my phone, the system should have an extra USB port. Where is it placed? Dear,it could support the steel wheel control and USB ports to play mp3's.
but it could not support the automatic doors lock, the automatic parking break, the enable/disable option for the passenger seat airbag.
there will come with 2 USB plots to support carplay.the extra USB port is on the behind of the unit.
