I see someone asked similar question but I don't see an answer. On a 2006 SLK280 (R171) NTG1 Basic audio (no amplifier) HU,... would this Car Optical Fiber Decoder Most Box be required for one of your after market HU. I do not have the Harmon Kardon Amp nor any other external Amp. This HU installed is Unit/Amp/tuner in one piece, it has CD slot below screen and is not MP3-capable nor does it have Navigation.

Hello I bought a used s160 radio (headunit) was previously installed in a r171. My vehicle is a 2005 SLK 350 R171. My original radio is the Harmon Kardon logic 7, 11 speaker speaker system I don't think the s160 it is a Seicane unit. Previous person installed a different amp/signal processor doing away with H/K components I would like to utilize my existing Harmon Kardon optical amp and speakers. Hello, I like to know if this MOST adapter will work with my car. SLK 200 kompressor 2004 - R171. the radio original is - NTG1 Audio 50 APS.
