Nice OEM look for not a lot of money
- Nice piece. Not very big, which is good for the air to get past. The wireless charging is a really nice bonus as it holds your phone perfectly to view through the wheel in landscape.
That said, installing the cable into the computer is a BITCH. Go on YouTube and watch an installation video. Any are fine because ever tesla cluster variant all have to plug into that autopilot computer.
I got the existing cable detached in about 3 minutes of fiddling. Attaching the new cable was 45 minutes of hell. I have 3XL size hands. Having small hands would have been helpful, but several primal screams of frustration later and the plug goes in. Strait forward after that.
As for the cluster, it is nice quality and the LED screen is clear and detailed. Remember, it doesn't do anything but show how info you already have 6 inches or so to the right. If this had been $350 I would have serious buyers remorse, but at $150 ish it works for me.
