Q: use with factory controls I have a 2007 m35x and i want to get this stereo but have a few questions. 1. Am i able to retain the information center controls that are placed just below the radio, the info, settings, maint buttons, also am i able to control the heater control functions from the radio. 2. the plug on the back of the screen that will be coming out does this connect to anything with the new setup. 3. am i able to retain the factory volume controls and radio station presets that are just above the cd changer. 4. does the information that shows up now on the factory lcd screen show up on the new radio. 5. i know the one can bus plugs indirectly inline but the second one has one side connects to the new radio, where does the other end plug into ? the reason for these questions is i had bought a cheaper version and after i installed it i had no volume controls, it would not learn the steering wheel functions, my gas gauge quit working now just reads on E when it has a full tank. the second can bus that was with the kit had one plug from the new radio plugged in but on the other side was a spot for another plug to go into it but i didn't have any factory plugs that would fit it. I want to thank you in advance to hopefully being able to answer all of these questions. Thank You Parsteven 28 août 2024
